ZAZ 🎵 (20.10.2022 SOPOT)

Zaz Concert Date: 22 October 2022 Location: Ergo Arena, Sopot Zaz is a french pop singer/songwriter who has a special place in french culture, mixing pop sensibilities along with more classical french stylings, such as Edith Piaf. We have had the chance to see her three times here in Poland. She does seem to be popular here. My entire family is a fan of hers. The tickets for this concert were my birthday gift to my wife earlier in the year.

Just finished reading: The Expert System’s Champion (The Expert System’s Brother Book 2) by Adrian Tchaikovsky 📚 This book and its predecessor The Expert System’s Brother are great! I love the realistic aspect of how exploration on another planet is dealt with and not ignored as usual in SciFi.

So it looks like I am going to start actually posting here on Mb. I have mostly been a lurker on twitter, but I want to change that since I have changed to be here. Content will probably be mostly around activities that I do, concerts, movies and maybe some ultimate frisbee as well.

We like to celebrate Christmas in our home, but cutting a tree down is too wasteful. We started doing something like this a few years ago and I really like it.

TIDES FROM NEBULA 🎵 (11.11.2022 GDANSK)

Tides From Nebula Concert Date: 11 November 2022 Location: B90 Klub (in Stocznia), Gdańsk This is either the 3rd or 4th time that I have seen Tides From Nebula play live. The first time was at the anniversary concert of Klub Progresja in Warsaw probably about 6 or 7 years ago. From the first time that I saw these guys play live I have been mesmerized by the live shows. It was a little harder for me to get into the post-rock genre just listening to the albums, but I eventually found that I really enjoy that as well, but (as with most music, at least for me) the real pleasure is a live show.
